The Baltic Sail Nord Cup was held from 02.07-09.07.2011 and battled out in the Danzig Bay.
Next to the strong polish classes of Zagele 500, T1, T2, T3, the offshore classes rated by ORC Club or KWR Rules, were numerous international and internationally known classes such as the Hobie 16, Hornet, Micro, OK Jolle, Omega class, Snipe, Nautica 450 Fun and Race as well as Star boats with strong field representation.
Held along with the competition of the European Dinghy Championship qualifications was the Polish Championship for Nautica 450, Hornet and Hobie 16.
This year, Tactix Yachting Solutions sent a German team, Martin Jannsen (FSC) and Fritjof Richter (KYC), to take part of the Polish Championship in the Nautica 450 class and made a great first impression in their debut of the international Nautica scene by placing 2nd in the Nautica 450 Race group and 3rd place overall.
„It was a great event and we had a lot of fun. With more time and preparation, we could have sailed much further ahead of the field,“ admits Martin Jannsen from FSC who had fifteen hours before regatta start, picked up the boat in Berlin and drove through to Danzig.
Tactix Yachting Solutions markets and sells the Nautica 450 in northern Germany and is supported in the southern half by their strong partner, Segelsport Häring. The Nautica 450 is an internationally fast growing boat class that is distinguished through its simple handling and high speed potential. It combines the good-natured sailing characteristics of a dinghy with the impressive sailing experience of a skiff.
After the Polish Championship, the Nautica 450 Race has been returned to Tactix Yachting Solutions in Berlin and stands ready for interested sailors to test sail.
In addition to the Nautica 450, Tactix Yachting Solutions also sells and distributes the sporty mak7 Yachts, Beilken Sails for regatta and cruising sailors, Tacktick Electronics as well as electric outboard engines by Torqeedo.
